
Beginning in the 2025-2026 academic year, the Advanced Snowmobile Team is working with two new competition platforms: a 2025 Polaris Switchback 850 (SI) and a 2023 Arctic Cat Blast 400 (Hybrid). Over the coming years, the team will pursue projects that enhance performance, efficiency, sustainability, and the overall rider experience to meet the interests of the snowmobile industry.
Each year, the team puts our projects and designs to the test at the Advanced Snowmobile Competition held annually in Eagle River, WI. At the competition, collegiate teams are evaluated across a range of technical, performance, and design criteria, including:
